17 years in marketing. I started selling things before I knew it was called marketing. Instagram audiences in 2014 before the algorithm existed. My own agency since 2018, scaled to $90K a month with 30+ clients and a team of five. I have built the thing you are building. I know exactly where it breaks.
I went corporate for three years. Director of Marketing at a firm whose buyers were Fortune 500 procurement committees. I walked in and there was no marketing function at all. No funnel, no content, no system for turning interest into revenue. So I built it. Revenue doubled year one. That is the same thing I do now, just for founders instead of boards.
Right now I am running growth strategy for a healthcare company doing a multi-brand rebrand, meeting weekly with an ecommerce CEO on systems and growth, and managing paid media for a consumer brand. I run revenue diagnostics, build the systems, and make sure the plan actually gets executed. I am in the work every day. This is not a "thought leader" thing.
